Ed Koch Endorses Hillary for Prez

Former New York City Mayor Ed Koch, who was a staunch supporter of President Bush in last year's election, announced his endorsement of Hillary Clinton this week for president of the United States.

"I'm a supporter of her, not only for the Senate," Koch told the New York Observer on Thursday. "I m supporting her for President."

Koch said he was sending Hillary a check that she could use for either her Senate re-election race next year or her presidential run in 2008.

"Whatever she wants to do with [the money], I'm helping her build her treasury for either of those," he told the paper.
